• Powder, the Dog Who Wooed at the World: Celebrate the legacy of Powder, the dog whose “Woo!” is inspiring courage around the world through our first anthology narrating her journey. As a puppy, she cowered in the shower during storms and lashed out at strange dogs out of fear. But then, when the stormclouds cleared, something inexplicable occurred: this little white dog would emit an effervescent “Woo!” It was like she was signaling that the danger had cleared, and she was ready to take on life again. • Lip Gloss, the Cat with a Permanent Grin: Lip Gloss spent 12 years living with hoarders, languishing from a flea infestation that left her with her signature “rodent ulcer” on her mouth. Despite carrying this scar from neglect—and being diagnosed with both kidney disease and hyperthyroidism this past year—she faces each day with love, strength, and comical antics like sleeping on top of her potbellied pig brother.
